I have watched hundreds of videos from Singapore. You are the first one to impress me with showing something different. Your reactions and feedbacks seem genuine. Thank you and keep it original. 👏👏👏👍👍👍
Just stumbled upon your channel.. gotta say im very impressed with your knowledge on the food you have picked out. Shows you made an effort to do your homework to present your viewers with the best information and knowledge.
you are doing good! based on this and the other videos ( you have definatley explored the various food cultres that we have ! ( many tourist always miss all this! ) Awesome content and thank you for sharing your day and experience with us! hope you are loving singapore!
Yummy! The Duck & sticky rice is just as I remember it when I was in Singapore many years ago, it looked just as amazing as I remember it. Very many thanks for sharing Dan. From Scotland 🤗x
If tourists wish to visit a commoners' neighbourhood, take the MRT to a housing estate such as Toa Payoh or Clementi. You can savour all kinds of local food at the hawker centres and coffee shops. Some coffee shops have a stall that cater all kinds of order-to-cook Chinese cuisines such as chilli crabs, sweet and sour pork, claypot curry fishhead and hot plate tofu which are much cheaper than those restaurants in the city area.
Thanks for your suggestion, that sounds really awesome. In fact, I wish I had more time in Singapore to go and explore more 'local' types of hawker centres, instead of the usual ones!
I don’t eat the shell tails. 😁And it seems you were missing the chili/sambal belacan on the braised duck rice which imo is 50% of the taste, really makes the dish. You have a great palate! 👍

Thank you for your feedback, indeed I want this food channel to also bring a bit of education rather than just entertainment!
Glad to see people from all walks of life enjoying good food and chilling

Alright, I agree on not eating tails then 😂 aahh, the sambal, you're right, not gonna make this mistake again!
FYI: Fuzhou = FOO JOE (more or less) 👍
Thanks for correcting, I would have never guessed it's pronounced that way 😀
